Dental & Hygiene Goods Drive – Tijuana, Mexico
Through numerous donation drives- collected unused dental and personal hygiene items-such as toothbrushes/paste, floss, and sanitary products. After sorting and packaging the donations, we delivered them by hand during a missionary home building trip to Tijuana, MX. There, we distributed the supplies directly to families living in remote and impoverished areas, ensuring they had access to basic hygiene essentials.
Oakland Homeless Encampment
Assembled hygiene kits using donated items, including individually packaged toothbrushes and other basic necessities, and distributed them directly to individuals living in homeless encampments in my outer community.
Medical Supplies Drive – Zambia, Africa
In another initiative, we gathered essential medical supplies—including gauze, gloves, sterilization pads, wound care materials, blood pressure cuffs, stethoscopes, and diabetes supplies—and carefully packed them into suitcases for transport to Zambia. These items were delivered to clinics in under-resourced areas, including the town of Zimba, where they supported both routine care and urgent medical procedures. The donated supplies were used in various settings such as the local eye clinic and neonatal intensive care unit (NICU), helping to improve the quality of patient care and ease the burden on healthcare workers. This experience reinforced the importance of global health equity and shows how targeted efforts can make a tangible difference in communities with limited access to medical resources.
